Christina Maragkaki
I am Christina Maragkaki, a psychologist and hypnotherapist based in Luxembourg. I support adults, children, teenagers, and their families experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, low mood, panic symptoms, and emotional regulation difficulties.
My clinical interests include trauma, eating disorders, self‑esteem difficulties, and borderline personality disorder. I work integratively, drawing on evidence‑based approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral hypnotherapy, somatic approaches, and play therapy.
Sessions are available in person in Luxembourg City or online, depending on your needs. My work is grounded in professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for each individual’s pace and process.
This is a space where healing is approached with care, growth is supported with intention, and every part of you is welcomed. Together, we work with mind, body, and subconscious processes to foster balance and meaningful change.
— Christina Maragkaki
I accompany adults, children, teenagers, and their families through periods of anxiety, emotional distress, trauma, or life transition. Therapy offers a space where your experience can be understood more deeply, patterns can be explored safely, and new ways of relating to yourself and others can gradually emerge.
My Services
Therapy for Adults
Professional psychological support for adults facing anxiety, depression, emotional difficulties, or life challenges. Sessions integrate approaches such as DBT, ACT, mindfulness, hypnotherapy, and somatic techniques to support emotional stability and long‑term well‑being.
Child, Adolescent & Family Therapy
Supportive and developmentally informed therapy for children and adolescents, together with their families, experiencing anxiety, emotional changes, behavioural difficulties, or school‑related stress. Creative methods, play therapy, and mindfulness are used to encourage emotional expression, confidence, and resilience.
Trauma & Emotional Processing
A structured and compassionate therapeutic space to explore distressing experiences and their emotional impact. Using integrative, evidence‑based approaches — including hypnotherapy, DBT, ACT, and somatic methods — therapy supports emotional regulation, self‑understanding, and a renewed sense of inner stability.
Stress & Burnout Support
For professionals, parents, and expats facing sustained pressure or work‑related stress, therapy offers practical tools to reduce overwhelm, restore energy, and regain clarity. The focus is on creating sustainable coping strategies and a balanced relationship with work and daily life.
If you or someone close to you is experiencing psychological distress, professional support is available.
Why Therapy?
Periods of anxiety, low mood, stress, or unresolved experiences can affect emotional well‑being, relationships, and daily functioning. Therapy provides a confidential and structured space to gain insight, develop coping strategies, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.
As an English‑, French‑, and Greek‑speaking psychologist in Luxembourg, I work with both locals and expats, offering culturally sensitive and ethically grounded psychological care.
My Therapeutic Approach

- Holistic: attending to emotional, cognitive, and bodily processes, including lifestyle and somatic awareness.
- Integrative: combining DBT, ACT, mindfulness, clinical hypnosis, and other evidence‑based methods.
- Supportive: offering a respectful, confidential space where collaboration and consent guide the process.
